Getting to Samoa

INTERNATIONAL airlines into Samoa include Polynesian Blue (Virgin), Air Pacific, Air New Zealand and Polynesian Airlines, bringing holidaymakers from Australia, New Zealand and USA, as well as from regional destinations such as Fiji, American Samoa and Tonga. The gateway to Samoa is the Falelolo International Airport on the western end of Upolu Island and just 35 minutes from the capital of Apia.

Local Transfers: Airport shuttle services are provided to all the main hotels and can be pre-booked with your holiday arrangements or you can purchase tickets on arrival. Alternatively you can catch a taxi for around 45 Samoan tala to Apia - it is recommended that you confirm the price with the driver before you leave the airport. Local buses provide cheap rides to Apia - only about 5 Samoan tala one way!

The International Airport offers currency exchange as you arrive and depart Samoa.
